The Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza announced that it will start Thursday, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), the disbursement of the June batch of cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip.
HE the Chairman of the Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza Mohammed Al Emadi said in a statement Wednesday that the cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, at a rate of USD 100 per family.
HE Al Emadi pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations at the distribution centers identified in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, which are 300 centers and shops.
Qatar disburses a monthly humanitarian grant in support of the brotherly Palestinian families in Gaza, who are suffering from difficult economic and living conditions caused by the Israeli siege.
