The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council hosted several officials and academics specialised in the field of economics to discuss the issue of inflation, high cost of living, and the increased financial burdens in society, during its meeting headed by HE the Chairman of the Committee Mohamed bin Yousef Al Mana and in the presence of HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.

During the meeting, the Committee surveyed the views of the competent guests about that issue and ways to address it. The Committee decided to complete its discussions on the topic at its next meeting.
