The Saudi Ministry of Health reported 5281 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections recorded in the country to 609953.
In a statement, the Ministry said that two deaths have been recorded during the same time period, bringing the total number of COVID-related deaths to 8,905 cases.
It added that 2996 people had recovered from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 561,542.
