Qatar Charity opens two branches locally

Doha

Qatar Charity (QC) has opened two branches, one in Al Hilal and another in Abu Hamour, aiming to provide easy services to donors across the country.
Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO’s assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector at QC, inaugurated the new branches, in the presence of Ali AlGreeb, director of the Resource Development department, and many other officials.

QC, through the opening of its new branches, aims to expand its reach to serve the community and make it easier for benefactors to make donations near their residence, using the best and latest collection methods, it was explained in a statement.
The new branches are expected to receive cash and in-kind donations from benefactors in support of charitable, developmental and humanitarian projects implemented by QC within and outside Qatar to maximise the number of beneficiaries.
Fakhroo, expressed his delight with the opening of the new branches, indicating that QC aims to provide easy services to donors across the country for the benefit of those in need.
He added that the locations of the branches are very easily accessible, emphasising that the branches will help the community make donations and receive relevant information easily. He hoped that QC will cover all the areas of the country with the opening of new branches in the near future.
The branches and collection points are open from 8am to 10pm. On Fridays, they are open after the Friday prayer to 10pm. The Al Hilal branch near The Mall is open from 7.30am to 10.00pm, except on Friday.
QC has 141 branches and collection points, which are located in hospitals, commercial centres, and markets across the country, to receive donors and benefactors, in addition to 1741 donation boxes and 33 donation kiosks across the country.
Besides, benefactors can also donate through QC’s website (https://www.qcharity.org/en/qa), and app (qch.qa/q/app), in addition to requesting a ‘Home Collector’, and dialling hotline 44667711 for donating.
