Morocco govt praises Amir’s decision on Shura Council elections

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Morocco, Habib El Malki, has praised the announcement of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani regarding the Shura Council elections in October 2021.
He said the elections would be an important step and will strengthen the enhancing of the participation of citizens in the legislative process, and would constitute a new building block in the process of development and modernisation that Qatar has known under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir.
This came during a meeting of El Malki with the Charge d’Affaires of Qatar’s embassy in Rabat, Khalid bin Mohamed al-Dossari.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral ties and issues of joint interest.
Panama’s parliament and the Greek government have also welcomed the Amir’s decision to hold Shura Council elections. 
His Highness the Amir announced this at the inauguration of the 49th ordinary session of the Shura Council on November 3.
