Qatar Charity (QC) is all set to launch ninth edition of its summer programme ‘Pearls and Coral 9’ for girls. The programme is planned for the girls to develop their capacity and skills, enabling them to become future leaders. The programme targets 60 students aged 7 to 18 years. The programme will be launched on July 15 at Al Aqsa Preparatory Girls School and is scheduled to continue till August 2.
The programme aims at contributing towards building a balanced personality of the students.
The events and activities of the project include religious lectures, recreational trips, health and art workshops (basics of photography, plastic art, cooking and sewing), handicrafts, sports activities and various courses for developing and utilising the girls’ potentials. At the closing ceremony, the participants, supervisors and workshop instructors will be honoured.
The charity is going to co-operate with various entities, including Al-Wehda Medical Center, Nomas Center and Al-Dana, to train and entertain the participants to raise social, religious and educational awareness in the society. For registration, contact 331460200.
