India’s 68th Republic Day was celebrated at Doha Modern Indian School with a cultural programme yesterday morning. Head Girl Adelyn D’Souza compered the programme. The students and the teachers saluted India’s national flag and pledged to uphold the honour and integrity of the country. The spirit of honour and integrity was further expressed by a patriotic song, followed by a speech by Dhivyashri Ramesh of grade XA. Jai Shankar Pillai was the chief guest.
