Doha International Book Fair (DIBF) 2022, held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, came to a conclusion Saturday at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre with great participation from the general public despite strict Covid-19 restrictions.
The designated authorities referred 1,316 people to the prosecution for non-compliance with the preventive and precautionary measures in place in the country to contain the spread of (Covid-19), the Ministry of Interior said on Sunday.
Qatar National Library (QNL) has so far digitised more than 13mn pages in its digitisation project as the library is highlighting the process of converting information from a physical format into a digital one at the ongoing Doha International Book Fair 2022, a top official of QNL told Gulf Times.
